当姚明退役的消息在十多天前被透露出来后,篮球和地球一同颤动。惊讶、惋惜、理解、赞美……人类所有最美好的情感通过报纸、电视、博客、微博倾泻而出。此时此刻,我们才顿悟,坐在电视机前看“移动长城”力挑NBA巨星的习惯已永成奢望。姚明带给我们的美好记忆已永远定格在脑海和史册中。

Service funds for cancer patients

 In 2003 my mom got cancer. After chemo treatments she was in a very bad condition. With the recommendation from a social worker, we applied $2000 service funds for her  from Lahey clinic cancer fundation.

I just contacted with the social worker for a friend and found that this program is still on and the money has raised to $2500:

1. must be Lahey clinic patient

2. The money can only be used for paying the patient's services (home care, cleaning, any services)
